What Do You Think of When You Think of Agriculture?

Probably soil. Seeds. Growth. Crops. But agriculture means a lot more.

Agriculture touches every individual. It’s woven into every aspect of our economy, from the food safety standards that keep you healthy to the award-winning hyacinth in your backyard, from the cotton in your favorite golf shirt to the fuel in your hybrid. And it’s the number-one industry in Illinois.

As a result, agriculture requires leaders who have a passion for the community, technological innovation, and implementing the highest standards of safety. Whether you’re a student pursuing an agriculture degree or an industry advocate leaving a legacy, it starts with you.

And that’s where the Champaign County Farm Bureau Foundation helps. Since our inception—and with the help of generous donors—we’ve provided over $1,200,000 to Champaign County students as of 2024.
