Farm Bureau Foundation Celebrates 40 Years
Incorporated February 22nd, 1985, the Champaign County Farm Bureau Foundation celebrates opportunity in agriculture. Our founding fathers, a group of forward-thinking Farm Bureau members, envisioned a community of support for the future of the agricultural industry. From that vision, the Foundation’s Scholarship program was born with the first award presented in 1986.
Later, Foundation leaders took on agricultural education and founded the Earth Partners (now called Champaign County Ag in the Classroom) to educate young students of the importance of agriculture in their daily lives.

Forty years later, the CCFB Foundation continues to provide scholarship support to nearly 60 local students each year. The Ag in the Classroom program provides hands-on and ag-accurate lessons to 29,000+ students throughout Champaign County every school year.
With eyes set on the next 40 years, CCFB Foundation staff, and board members, are excited to commemorate this milestone. Throughout 2025 the organization will be celebrating its history, honoring Impactful Donors, Visionary Leaders, and Successful Scholars. Follow along on our social media accounts – Facebook, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn to meet the our honorees.
